Metropolitan WInds of toronto

The Metropolitan Winds or Toronto consists of a group of enthusiastic musicians and alumni of the various Toronto Youth Wind Orchestra (TYWO) ensembles over he past 30+ years, as well as many amateur and professional musicians from the community.

The Metropolitan Winds of Toronto strive to present high-quality musical performances, but more importantly, they like to have fun! Simple, straightforward, good ol’ fashioned band geek goodness is their specialty.

Under the direction of Colin Clarke and assistant conductor Travis Grubissi, Kevin Vuong and Paul Pietrkiewicz, The Metropolitan Winds of Toronto present music that is a balanced mix of classic music composed for wind band, challenging contemporary works, as well as some light music.
